Studio 10

Studio 10 was a project from the ground up. Starting with the creation of the room, the studio was properly framed to absorb sound by having each wall double framed and insulated with a barrier in between. Using soundproof drywall, we layered the walls and ceiling, while also proofing all outlets, switches and lights in the room with sound putty.

The studio then came to life with six custom sound panels and three bass traps built with sound rated insulation and wrapped with acoustically treated fabric. A diffuser was also created with a math equation based on the size of the room and mounted in place to diffuse sound. To finish this project off, a sound absorbing floor was installed and the construction of a 9-foot desk was built. The desk features multi-level areas with built in speaker stands that have the ability to be opened up for rack units or machines at any point in the future.

The studio has been operating for nearly five years and is mainly used for both mixing and mastering.
