This was once home to a Toronto furniture gallery but now boasts 4000 sqft of usable event space. The team at 200 Dupont needed renovation work and a new sound system installed before launching the space to the public. They wanted to keep their existing in-ceiling speakers but wanted more power, properly distributed since cut-outs were occurring. The venue also needed to be properly prepared for incoming events that would require more sound and or video.
We worked on a system that could properly distribute enough power to the current rig of speakers while still being able to expand on a per event basis. The amp was set in a space that saw little to no traffic where as the mixer is placed in an accessible to all area while still hidden to the public. The space is now well suited to control the simplest iPod connection to a DJ or band with more sound.
